National Steel Enterprise Energy Management Center Demonstration Project Construction Seminar held in Xiangtan

Representatives from relevant enterprises such as steel, non-ferrous metals and building materials from various provinces and cities across the country exchanged views on the construction and operation management experience of energy management centers and related technologies. The department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the relevant government departments of various provinces and municipalities attended the seminar. As the organizer of this seminar, Hunan Xiangtan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. adheres to the environmental protection concept of “clear water and blue sky, green Xianggang”, and established the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Protection at the end of 2009 to further strengthen the professional management of energy conservation and emission reduction. In recent years, Xianggang has invested a total of 1.148 billion yuan in the construction of energy-saving and emission reduction projects. After the operation of all projects, it can save 435,000 tons/standard coal, 24 million tons of recovered water, 6,000 tons of desulfurization and 2.8 million tons of solid waste. Tons, all the coke dry quenching, blast furnace all-top heat recovery power generation, boiler full-mixed combustion gas, wastewater, and waste residue will be treated. Xianggang's experience in implementing energy conservation and emission reduction has been well received at this seminar.
