First, safety technology for steel barrel edging production
Most of the edging machines used in the barrel making industry in China are based on grinding wheels. The grinding wheel consumes a lot during grinding and needs frequent adjustment and grinding. The daily dynamic management workload is large. Grinding wheels may cause injuries due to the intrinsic quality of the grinding wheel, packaging, transportation, storage, and installation operations. The working speed of the grinding wheel is high, and the detached abrasive dust inhales into the human body, which affects health and causes accidents when it enters the eyes. Therefore, the edger has a great influence on the safety and health of the operator.
The edger can not be installed in corrosive or flammable places, such as heat treatment workshop, woodworking room, gas station, oil depot, etc.
The degree of opening of the protective cover of the grinding machine wheel should not exceed 125o, the protective cover should have sufficient strength, the thickness of the protective cover plate should not be less than 3mm, the gap between the new grinding wheel of the edge grinding machine and the side of the cover (inside measurement) is 20~30mm The clearance between the outer cover plate and the grinding wheel is 10~15mm. The grinding machine should be installed with a grinding wheel that conforms to the specified diameter and thickness.
The grinding wheel must undergo a rigorous and careful inspection before installation and use. The inspection items include:
(1) Whether there is a certificate of conformity and whether it is within the prescribed preservation period;
(2) Whether the characteristics of the grinding wheel such as abrasive, grain size, hardness, binder, shape size and safety circumferential speed comply with the process requirements of the edge grinding equipment;
(3) Whether the appearance of defects or cracks;
(4) The four points corresponding to the two sides of the grinding wheel are struck with a wooden hammer, and the corresponding crisp sound should be used. If there is a choppy sound or a different sound, it must not be used;
(5) The inner hole of the grinding wheel should be smooth and free of scratches;
(6) The custody of the grinding wheel should not be placed in a damp or oily place. It should be stored on a special wooden frame and placed upright.
The edging board of the grinding wheel edging machine can prevent sparks or granules splashing when edging, and can also hold the grinding wheel shards flying out of the wounded operator; the bracket can prevent the steel plate material from swaying and damage the grinding wheel when edging. The grinding wheel edging machine must have enough strength during the manufacture of the ribs and brackets. The width of the crumple plate should not be less than the width of the sprocket wheel. The bracket diameter and radial direction can be adjusted. There is no sag or lack of edges on each side. angle. The clearance between the scraper plate and the grinding wheel should be adjusted regularly.
The function of the flange next to the edging machine wheel is to transmit the driving force of the motor to the grinding wheel, and also to ensure the stability of the grinding wheel; the diameter of the flange should be greater than 1/3 of the diameter of the grinding wheel and the diameter of both sides is equal; the flange No distortion or deformation, otherwise it may cause the fracture of the grinding wheel, the flange plate must not be made of cast iron parts, and a soft pad should be added between the flange plate and the grinding wheel. The function is to eliminate the micro-non-parallelism of the grinding wheel and increase the contact surface of the grinding wheel; The diameter of the cushion is required to be 2~3mm greater than the diameter of the flange, so that it is necessary to visually check whether there is a cushion and how tight it is. The cushion can be cut with asbestos, rubber, leather, etc., and the thickness is 1~2mm; the fixed grinding wheel is The nuts of the flange must be tight.
When the grinding wheel is running, there should be no obvious radial vibration and jitter. If the running speed is still stable after the start-up, this phenomenon should still occur, and the cause of the failure should be carefully searched. When looking up, you can use a screwdriver to hear the abnormal sound of the grinding wheel bearing, if possible, the bearing is damaged; the other can check whether the two sides of the grinding wheel swing, if possible, the motor shaft deformation; In addition, the wheel is installed unbalanced, not fixed * It may also cause vibration or runout of the grinding wheel.
Grinding machine grinding wheel wear exceeds the limit should be promptly replaced. This limit determines two aspects, one is the equipment to adjust the limit, the grinding wheel diameter can not meet the production process requirements must be replaced; the other is the safety limit, the remaining size of the grinding wheel = new grinding wheel diameter size - flange Diameter size - 10mm.
The edging machine must be operated in strict accordance with the following safety procedures:
(1) Wear protective glasses and masks when edging.
(2) Do not press the grinding wheel too tight when edging.
(3) The operator should try to stand on the side or behind the wheel to prevent accidental breakage of the wheel.
(4) The amount of grinding wheel grinding should be adjusted in time.
(5) The new grinding wheel should be replaced when the grinding wheel wears to the limit size.
