Vietnam will further restrict the export of mineral resources such as talcum powder

Vietnam will increase the export tax on ore and minerals by 300% for some exports by 5-10%. Silica Flour and Silica, Natural Talc, Hematite, and Their Products Upgraded from 10% to 15%; Coal, Briquette, Briquettes, and Coal-derived Solid Fuels, etc., Coking or Semi-Coking Coals Processed from Coal, Already Available Cake peat, etc., refined copper or unprocessed alloy copper was increased from 15% to 20%; aluminum ingots and lead ingots were increased from 5% to 15%; zinc ingots and tin ingots were adjusted from 5% to 10%. It is reported that the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam has increased the export taxes on ores and minerals by 10-30% in 2009 and 2010 to limit the export of non-renewable mineral resources and ensure domestic production demand, but exports of ores and minerals have continued to increase.
