At present, China's photovoltaic equipment enterprises have initially provided complete supply capacity from silicon material production, wafer processing to solar cell chip production and corresponding pure water preparation, environmental protection treatment and purification engineering. Some products such as diffusion furnace and plasma engraving Erosion machines, single crystal furnaces, polycrystalline ingot furnaces, etc., start a small number of exports, can provide 8 kinds of 10 kinds of solar cell large production line equipment, of which 6 kinds (diffusion furnace, plasma etching machine, cleaning / texturing machine, Quartz tube cleaning machine and low temperature drying furnace have occupied a dominant position in domestic production lines. Two types (tube type PECVD, rapid sintering furnace) coexist with imported equipment but the proportion is gradually increasing. In addition, fully automatic screen printing machines, automatic sorters, and flat PECVD are completely dependent on imports. Laminators for production of components, solar simulators, etc. are widely used in the industry. The single crystal furnace in the silicon material processing equipment has occupied the absolute dominance of the domestic market with excellent cost performance and exported to Asia in batches. The multi-line cutting machine has made breakthroughs, and the polycrystalline silicon ingot furnace has begun to be used in a large number of domestic enterprises.
In 2008, with a batch of new domestically produced photovoltaic equipment entering the market in batches and the continuous improvement of the cost performance of domestically produced equipment, PV companies are increasingly aware of domestically produced equipment. In the first half of 2008, China's solar photovoltaic equipment sales revenue reached 769 million yuan, an increase of 80% over the same period in 2007, accounting for 58.6% of all semiconductor equipment sales revenue.
