Introduction to rock wool board

The rock wool board for exterior wall shall comply with the implementation standard of rock wool board for external thermal insulation of building exterior wall GB T 25975-2010.

Rockwool slate wool board is made of basalt and other natural ore as the main raw material, melted into fiber by high temperature, added with appropriate amount of binder, solidified and processed, widely used in shipbuilding, metallurgy, electric power, construction and other industries. Has good insulation and sound insulation. Convenient construction and installation, remarkable energy saving effect, high performance and price ratio.

Marine and hydrophobic rock wool insulation boards are added with hydrophobic additives during production, which have good moisture resistance. Marine rock wool board is used for thermal insulation and fireproof partitioning of ships; hydrophobic rock wool board is used for vehicles, mobile equipment, cold storage engineering, air conditioning ducts, and insulation and fire protection in humid environments and applications where moisture is required.

The rock wool board for construction has excellent fireproof, thermal insulation and sound absorbing properties. It is mainly used for thermal insulation of building walls and roofs; fire protection and noise reduction of building partitions, firewalls, fire doors and elevator shafts.
