Riveting
The use of rivets to join two or more pieces of work is called riveting.
classification
1. Activity riveting. The coupling members can rotate relative to each other. Not a rigid connection. Such as: scissors, pliers.
2. Fixed riveting. The joints cannot move with each other. This is a rigid connection. Such as: square ruler, nameplate on the three-ring lock, bridge construction.
3. Seam riveting. The rivet joint is tight and does not leak gas or liquid. This is a rigid connection.
Process: Drilling--((woulding)--(deburring)--inserting rivet--top die against rivet--screw rivet forming (or hand-tightening--deep--------- Cover shape)
Riveting is divided into cold riveting and hot riveting.
In general, riveting refers to two plates of small thickness, by punching holes in their parts, then putting the rivets in, riveting the rivets with a rivet gun, and joining the two plates or objects together.
