The disadvantages are in some complicated terrain projects, such as Sichuan Xiaolongtan, Hebei Quyang, Hainan Xiangshui, hilly mountains, etc. The steep slopes in the area have large gaps, vertical and horizontal faults, and the gullies are covered by solitary rocks, exposed rocks, and unfavorable geological conditions such as red clay.

Most crawler-type pneumatic DTH rigs in mountainous regions use crawler-type pneumatic DTH rigs. The advantage is that they can drill different pore sizes depending on the model. There is a certain degree of climbing ability, normal work 32 degrees slope. Defective climbing angle is small, the limit is not more than 35 degrees slope. They can only be pushed by unicycles and manually picked to complete the casting. The progress and quality of the project are difficult to guarantee.

If the hydraulic excavator is changed to a hydraulic rock drill, if a new type of excavator-modified hydraulic rock drill is used, the construction efficiency will be greatly improved. A medium-sized excavator can complete a series of work such as drilling, casting, and road construction within a range of 100 square meters, and the rock drilling speed is fast (one meter per minute), is not affected by the weather, and the climbing ability is strong. Up to 70 degrees. High safety, short duration, and low cost. If a simple channel is built in the middle of two photovoltaic squares, it can be constructed on the basis of two square arrays at the same time. From my personal work experience, no matter what kind of equipment has its limitations, the complexity of the mountain terrain requires a variety of equipment to work in order to be complementary, simple and quick completion of the work.

From previous work experience, regardless of the state of the mountain, the construction method can achieve the design requirements and practical level as long as the pulling force of each pile foundation can reach 1.5T and each pile pile can reach 35T.

Photovoltaic foundation piles, in addition to Hainan Province, have not happened in other regions since the typhoon damaged the foundation piles. In the medium to long term, the weakest link of photovoltaic piles is the 25-year anticorrosion problem of galvanized parts on the ground. This is the most important aspect of photovoltaic safety. Once this problem arises, even the best underground foundation will not help. Another issue that needs attention is the loss of waterproof soil, especially after heavy rains in the mountains, it is easy to form mountain torrents in a short time, and it is easy to cause damage to the pile foundation. At the beginning of construction, we must do a good job of flushing and impacting against rainwater.
