Budapest apartment designed for travelers

Named AIRBN'P, this small 30m2 Budapest apartment was designed by the Position Collective and aims to provide a fun place for people visiting the area. In order to maximize the compact space, an elevated plywood platform is integrated into the storage space in a modern manner.

The platform has a double bed and contains storage below. Behind the bed, the entire wall has a configurable system with removable hooks to hang the shelves.

Storage walls extend to cabinets above the kitchen.

The owner of the apartment decided to turn it into a short-term homestay because the city has become a popular tourist destination in recent years.

Despite their modest size, the apartments still feel spacious, as they came up with clever furniture solutions and used metal pipes to hang clothes instead of building a huge closet.

Sandblasted glass windows are installed in the bathroom and main living areas, introducing natural light into the bathroom.
