Research on the Performance of External Electric Field Used in Spring Oscillator System

The dynamic behavior of the system is significantly influenced by the position and stability of its equilibrium points under various charging conditions. Consequently, the system's dynamic characteristics must also be re-evaluated. In this numerical study, we employ the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method to solve the governing equations. To analyze the system's behavior, we compute the maximum angular displacement value, denoted as Hmax, and construct bifurcation diagrams of Hmax versus X0 and Hmax versus b. These diagrams help illustrate how the system transitions between different dynamic states. In the case where both balls are uncharged (b = 0), X0 is used as the control parameter, while other parameters remain constant: k = 0.8, C = 0.1, R = 0.4 m, d = 0.2 m, r0 = 0.12 m. The resulting Hmax-X0 bifurcation diagram reveals a transition from periodic motion to chaos as the driving angular frequency increases. Specifically, the system exhibits stable periodic behavior for X0 < 1.18 rad and X0 > 1.38 rad. However, within the interval 1.18 rad < X0 < 1.38 rad, the system undergoes a period-doubling route to chaos, indicating complex nonlinear dynamics. This analysis provides important insights into the system's response under varying operational conditions.
