Jiaozuo Wanfang Aluminum Co., Ltd., after digesting and absorbing, successfully applied the innovative technology of ship-shaped anode to the actual production, and once again led the development direction of domestic electrolytic aluminum.
After the ship-shaped anode is applied to the actual production, the DC power consumption per ton of aluminum is controlled below 12,500 KWH, and the energy saving per ton of aluminum is nearly 600 KWH. Each new cathode structure tank can save 38 KWH annually. It is estimated that after the renovation of 558 electrolytic cells of Wanfang Aluminum, the annual electricity saving will be 21,204,000 KWH.
