Precautions for using fungicides in cotton seedlings

First, in the selection of fungicides to clarify the nature of the fungicide. There are two types of fungicides, one is a protective agent, which is for preventing plant diseases, such as Bordeaux mixture, mancozeb, carbendazim, etc.; the other is a therapeutic agent, which is applied after plant onset. In order to kill or inhibit pathogenic bacteria invading plants, the therapeutic agent has a better effect at the early stage of the onset, such as a compound fungicide such as anti-Qingning and Baozhida.


Second, the fungicide should be sprayed before 9 am or after 4 pm. If sprayed under the scorching sun, the medicament is easily decomposed and evaporated, which is not conducive to crop absorption.


Third, the fungicide can not be mixed with alkaline pesticides. Do not arbitrarily increase or decrease the amount of fungicide used, and should be used with it.


Fourth, fungicides are mostly powders, emulsions and suspensions, which must be diluted before application. Dilute the drug first, then the water, then stir with a stick. When mixed with other pesticides, the fungicide should be diluted and mixed with other pesticides.


5. The interval between spraying with fungicides is 7 10 days. For drugs that are not strong in adhesion and poor in systemic absorption, they should be exposed to rain within 3 hours after spraying and must be re-sprayed after rain.
