The aforementioned sources said that the rare earth industry policy proposed in the document will impose stricter management on China's rare earth industry. These include requiring rare earth producers to improve the comprehensive utilization of resources, improve environmental emission standards, control mine size and adopt more advanced and environmentally friendly mining technologies. This document will encourage the development of large-scale production of rare earth production enterprises. Previously, the market was rumored that the country would reserve rare earths, and in this document, it is likely to use storage as one of the methods to “enhance the comprehensive utilization of rare earth mine resourcesâ€. Wang Caifeng, senior engineer of China Rare Earth Industry Association, said: “The rare earth mine in Inner Mongolia Baiyun Ebo uses 20%, and the remaining 80% are piled up in tailings dams. The state will introduce relevant policies to solve the ills of this resource utilization.†The industry special investigation has been carried out for several years.
