Zhengzhou Sanmao Research Institute held the 8th Ninth Workers' Congress

On the afternoon of March 24, 2014, Zhengzhou Sanmao Research Institute successfully convened its 8th Ninth Workers' Congress in the lecture hall on the second floor. The event was attended by members of the company's leadership team and 56 employee representatives, marking an important milestone in the organization's internal democratic process. During the meeting, Mr. Yang Xiaoping, Vice Chairman of the Trade Union, delivered a comprehensive work report on behalf of the Eighth Trade Union Committee. The report covered several key areas, including strengthening team building, actively participating in the company's economic development, enhancing the role of the union as a bridge between management and employees, promoting democratic management, and fostering a more inclusive and supportive work environment. The report also highlighted efforts to organize labor competitions, improve employee welfare, enrich cultural activities during off-hours, and promote a harmonious workplace culture. Additionally, it emphasized the importance of social responsibility and outlined the financial status of the union for the years 2011 to 2013. Mr. Yang expressed his confidence in the future work of the Ninth Trade Union Committee and called for continued dedication and collaboration. In another session, Comrade Liu Qi, Director of the Fund Review Committee of the Eighth Trade Union, presented the "Report on the Review of Labor Union Funds for 2011-2013," providing detailed insights into the financial management and usage of union funds during that period. The congress concluded with a general election, where 56 candidates recommended by the Eighth Trade Union Committee were considered. A secret ballot was conducted, and the following seven individuals were elected as members of the Ninth Session: Li Chaojie, Yang Xiaoping, Zhang Geqi, Cao Jianfeng, Liu Xiaohua, Yang Hongjun, and Sun Zhengbin. Their election marked a new chapter in the union’s leadership and signaled a commitment to continued progress and improvement. This event not only reflected the company’s dedication to employee participation and transparency but also demonstrated its strong foundation in fostering a united and motivated workforce.
