OTHERS, simply because they lack the technical capability to meet the fundamental requirements of producing explosion-proof equipment. The pursuit of profit often leads to reckless decisions. They may also improperly manage technical staff or have none at all, which results in numerous hidden issues within the products.
For example, a product might be labeled with an explosion-proof rating of IIBT6 on its specification sheet, while the official standard, test report, and certificate state IIBT4. Such inconsistencies are common and indicate a lack of attention to detail. Other products may pass initial tests but still have unresolved issues that persist during mass production.
As an electrical product, regardless of its application, the main performance indicator is its electrical functionality. This is especially true for explosion-proof electrical equipment, which has specific structural requirements and thus demands higher electrical performance standards. Many companies focus only on the explosion-proof structure and neglect the electrical performance metrics, which is extremely dangerous. There have been numerous accidents in China caused by poor electrical performance—such as arc short circuits, damage to steel casings, or even shell failures. These incidents were ultimately due to inadequate electrical performance.
