3. Seeding. Seeds are typically collected in late autumn. Once collected, remove the outer husk and store them properly. When ready to sow, plant the seeds at a depth of two to three times their size. Maintain a temperature of at least 20°C (68°F) for optimal germination. Within 30 days, small seedlings should begin to emerge. Once the seedlings have developed 2–3 true leaves, they can be moved into regular care with proper watering and fertilization. They can then be transplanted in the spring of the following year.
