Flame-retardant adhesive preparation method

The flame-retardant adhesive is prepared by first mixing neoprene, 210-type resin, triple-grinding ethylene, and dioxane methane at room temperature to form reactant A. In a separate process, 2402-type resin, magnesium oxide, and triple-grinding ethylene are combined to produce reactant B. Once both reactants are ready, they are thoroughly mixed together, and an antioxidant is added to finalize the formulation.

The raw material composition of this adhesive includes: grinding rubber (90–120 parts), 210-type resin (14–28 parts), 2402-type resin (5–10 parts), triple-grinding ethylene (400–700 parts), methylene chloride (150–250 parts), magnesium oxide (0.04–0.1 parts), and antioxidant (0.5–1). These proportions ensure optimal performance and stability during the bonding process.

This adhesive is particularly suitable for joining cotton canvas, vinylon, nylon, and other conveyor belt materials in coal mines, power plants, and other fire-sensitive areas. It is also effective for bonding rubber, synthetic fibers, cotton fabrics, leather, bamboo, decorative materials, and certain types of plastics. Its versatility makes it ideal for industrial and commercial applications where strong, durable adhesion is required.

Key features of the product include a straightforward manufacturing process, long service life, and high bond strength. It achieves a shear strength of up to 210 N/cm² within 20 minutes and reaches a final shear strength of 402 N/cm², with a peel strength of 252 N/2.5 cm. The adhesive cures quickly, offers excellent flame resistance, and ensures safe and reliable use in critical environments.
