Heat treatment of sophisticated molds

There is no shortage of sophisticated molds in heat-treated molds, which requires processors to apply more sophisticated techniques.
1. Reasonable material selection. For high-density molds, good-quality micro-deformation mold steels should be selected. Forging steels with severe segregation of carbides should be forged and tempered. Heat treatment should be performed on the mold steels with large or no forging.
2. For larger molds, it is necessary to grasp the laws of deformation and reserve machining allowances. Large and sophisticated molds can be used in combination.
3. Perform pre-heat treatment.
4. A reasonable choice of heating temperature and control temperature, can take slow heating, preheating and other methods of equalization to reduce the heat treatment mold deformation.
5. As far as conditions permit, the use of vacuum heating quenching and cryogenic treatment after quenching.
