More than 200 domestic fuel cell electric vehicles have been put into demonstration operation

The 2016 Cross-Strait Fuel Cell Technology and Industry Development Summit Forum was held recently in the Wuhan Development Zone (Hannan District). Professor Yi Baolian, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, pointed out that at present, China's automotive fuel cells are relatively close in performance to the international first-class level, but there is still a certain gap in reliability and durability. To realize the industrialization of fuel cells for vehicles, problems such as mass production of key materials and dynamic load control strategies should be addressed. He said that the fuel cell for vehicles was first promoted in public transportation facilities, and then popularized in the field of small cars, which is a reasonable path for the development of fuel cells.
